Gentle Dragon
Okay, so this is kind of a wip, because I want to paint in a background, I'm just afraid to mess it up. So right now, this is the finished piece. Here's hoping it won't be for long.
Done in gouache on box cardboard late last night. God I love gouache.

New Banner WIP
I'm in the process of reworking the blog to make it better, and of course the current banner has to go. Here's a wip:
Kinda wanted to showcase a little bit of everything, you know, robots, creatures, characters, environment and story. Started off with nothing but a fixed idea of a robot with a gun in the bottom-right corner on the lookout for his target. Everything else was built up as I went along and changed rapidly and in a multitude of ways, a process that will probably continue on for a bit.

Something Traditional
Here's something I've been working on over the holiday, on and off, just to keep me at it.
Drawn with a technical pen on colored construction paper without pior sketching, and colored with some colored pencils, I had lying around. Getting it inside the computer was a hassle, but I survived :)

Done
Finished my interpretation of the Bastion's 7 character Zero. With time to spare, too. Zero and all other Bastion's 7 characters are © copyright Sean "Cheeks" Galloway.
I'm quite happy with how it turned out. I was going for a classic heroic pose as well as a retro-type color scheme. Hope you like it.
Now for something completely different, Ishmael and his Furry Companion:
Really happy with this one as well, especially because it was the first thing I did after a, to me, long break. Remember to check out my deviantArt page, if you feel like it, since not everything ends up here. And vice versa, actually.

Chiustream WIP
A wip of my entry for the next chiustream. I should get it in in time, but probably at the latest possible moment. The theme is to draw or paint one of the characters of Bastion's 7, a project belonging to Sean "Cheeks" Galloway, who also chose this theme and will be interviewed on the 29th. Having great fun so far.

Pin-Up for Chiustream
My entry for the latest Chiustream challenge. Was fun, but really difficult. Still think I could've done better. The joke is gold, though, I think.

Step by Step
Thought I'd post a step-by-step of the Super Tarsier.
And here's my shot at last Friday's Chiustream, the theme being "caterpillar". Very quick and sketchy.

Fear The Awesome Might of The Super Tarsier
Done the the most recent Chiustream challenge. The theme is "heroic animal" and was chosen by Francis Manapul. I chose to do a Tarsier.
In other news, I entered a contest at deviantArt. Follow the link on the left to my account there to see my entry.

Some Quickies
Like the title says, here are some quick pieces as well as some more practice. I think the one with the cow has potential.
J. Seiler
This is (supposed to be) a caricature of Jason Seiler, for another Chiustream challenge. It might have been a mistake to omit his eyes, but I think this looks okay.
